How much does cosmetic dentistry cost?

The cost of cosmetic dentistry varies widely. Simple treatments like teeth whitening or dental bonding can cost a few hundred dollars, while more complex procedures, such as dental implants or full mouth reconstructions, can reach several thousand dollars. Since cosmetic dentistry is generally elective, it’s often not covered by dental insurance. However, some treatments like orthodontics or necessary extractions may be partially covered if they address functional issues.

How long do cosmetic treatments last?

The longevity varies by treatment; for example, teeth whitening lasts several months, while veneers can last 10 years or more with proper care.

Are cosmetic dentistry procedures painful?

Many procedures are minimally invasive, and local anesthesia is used to manage discomfort. Some sensitivity may occur afterward.

How can I maintain my cosmetic results?

Good oral hygiene, regular dental check-ups, and avoiding stain-causing foods can help maintain your results.
